Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is seeking an experienced Corporate & Social Sales Manager to join our award-winning waterfront hospitality destination on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The Corporate & Social Sales Manager leads the full sales and event lifecycle, from proactive business development and client relationship management through detailed planning and successful event execution. This role drives revenue growth by cultivating new businesses, strengthening existing partnerships, and showcasing the distinctive venues and experiences available across both our Waterfront and Inn campus. The ideal candidate is a results-driven hospitality sales professional who thrives on building relationships, exceeding client expectations, and transforming ideas into memorable experiences.

Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Drive corporate and social sales performance across the waterfront campus and The Inn, achieving established revenue goals.
  • Lead the full event lifecycle, including prospecting, proposals, contract negotiation, planning, billing, and on-site execution.
  • Proactively develop new business opportunities, with emphasis on expanding outing-only and multi-day group experiences.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, weekly reporting, BEO coordination, open balance follow-up, and current menu and pricing information.
  • Collaborate with operations, culinary, restaurant, accommodations, and property leadership to ensure seamless guest experiences and service excellence.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify new revenue opportunities using existing spaces, services, and property assets.
  • Supervise, train, and support the Corporate/Social Sales Assistant to ensure effective workload management and performance.
  • Contribute to annual sales budgeting, menu development, package creation, and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Support group room block coordination, destination management planning, and required Inn open-house coverage.
  • Promote consistent communication, teamwork, and operational alignment across sales, kitchen, banquet, and support teams.

Supervisor Responsibility

This position supervises event staff such as Captains, Servers, and Bartenders, and directly oversees the Corporate/Social Sales Assistant.

Work Environment

This position operates in a busy, fast-paced hospitality setting where noise levels can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls, and burns, and frequent hand washing is required.

Physical Demands:
  • Walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe.
  • Remain stationary for long periods of time.
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Be able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to write, carry, and handle materials.
  • Be able to hear and talk, with good close and distant vision and the ability to adjust focus between the two.
Position Type/Work Schedule Expectation

This is a full-time, 45-hour-per-week, variable-hour position that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
