We are excited to be recruiting for the next important piece of our history and new talent, a Facility Security Officer! The Facility Security Officer (FSO) develops, implements, and administers internal facility security functions for the organization. This position processes clearances/special accesses and debriefing/terminations of clearances. The FSO also analyzes security documents and manuals as the company's designated officer and maintains appropriates levels of controls, to include that of physical security.

The Facility Security Officer reports directly to Chief Operations Officer.

• Prepares personnel actions and forms to request security clearance/special access and maintains records of such requests
• Briefs incoming staff on security processes and debriefs outgoing staff
• Creates and distributes security manuals, documents and records
• Maintains facility security requirements and implements procedures for safeguarding proprietary and customer furnished data
• Performs periodic and random security inspections and prepares security reports as necessary
• Establishes and maintains procedures on handling, safeguarding and destruction of documents and data in accordance with established processes and appropriate timelines
• Reports incidents as necessary
• Ensures facilities are operating in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
• Works closely with the Contracts' department to ensure the organization meets the requirements of proposals, contracts, TOs and POs

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• At least 5 years of security experience
• CDSE Non-Processing Facilities Certification is required
• A Top Secret security clearance is required
• Insider Threat Awareness Training is required
• Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification preferred

$105,500/yr

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, AV3, Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
