What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare setting.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
* Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with check-in processes, directions, and policy questions while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
* Support medical and behavioral health locations by observing for escalated behavior, contacting appropriate personnel when needed, and following post orders for incident response and/or assistance requests.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
* Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
* Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
