Position: Security Officer with Security Clearance
Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground

Duties
* Manage the ATEC Security Guard Force to provide security and protective measures.
* Evaluate program to correct problems, schedule slippages, or increased costs.
* Provide strategic direction for the resolution of mission-critical problems, policies, and procedures.
* Identify and resolve highly complex problems that cross organizational boundaries and promulgates solutions.
* Execute short and long-range goals and objectives for various security programs.
* Oversee multiple security programs.
* Responsible for the oversight and direction of the Command's Intelligence Program.
* Represent meetings on issues relating to intelligence analysis, production, and collection. Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
* This position is subject to a drug testing position, pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter.
* This position is requires a one year probationary period, unless previously completed. Qualifications Who May Apply:

Specialized experience is defined as experience performing aviation (1) developing and implementing policies and procedures for a variety of security, intelligence oversight, and protection programs, such as Information Security (INFOSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security, and Operations Security (OPSEC) and (2) providing technical guidance and advisory services to leadership on security-related issues and making recommendations to resolve complex security problems.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
