Overview

The Security Ambassador plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest and team member at Live! Casino & Hotel. As the eyes and ears of our property, you help maintain a secure environment while delivering warm, attentive, and friendly service throughout every corner of the casino. Your presence ensures guests feel comfortable, informed, and supported, whether you’re greeting them with a smile, offering assistance, or responding swiftly to situations as they arise.

With constant movement and engagement across the floor, you help uphold the high standards of hospitality and safety that define the Live! brand—while building a strong foundation for your career through ongoing development and advancement opportunities.

Shift: Full Time to work either 3:00pm-11:30pm or 11:00pm-7:00am Responsibilities Where You'll Make an Impact:
  • Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome.
  • Check  of guests entering the casino and hotels. Refuse to admit persons under the age of 21 and who cannot show proper authorization or who are carrying weapons or other prohibited items.
  • Be able to explain the rules, regulations, and code of conduct for the casino and hotels.
  • Interact with the public in a professional manner when providing assistance, giving directions and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist with customer disputes and complaints, intoxicated subjects, criminal matters, and traffic control; otherwise refer to management.
  • Notify supervisor, manager, surveillance and/or Casino and Hotel Operations Manager of any unusual events, incidents, or crimes.
  • Respond to medical or fire emergencies, such as sick or injured guests.
  • Staff the Employee/Visitor Entrance ensuring only authorized personnel enter; maintain a log of visitors and vendors visiting the facilities.
  • Monitor guest and team member passage in and out of restaurants and gaming areas.
  • Control traffic congestion in the valet and parking areas.
  • Write and investigate first reports of injury when applicable.
  • Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers.
  • Responsible for checking for and reporting safety hazards.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Must‑Haves:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years’ experience in security with a focus on guest service is preferred.
  • Must initiate the Guard Card process within 60 days of employment
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
