Glen-Gery, one of the nation’s leading brick manufacturers, is looking for a talented Maintenance Mechanic with strong welding experience to join the at our plant location in Rocky Ridge, MD. This person will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment.
Position SummaryThe ideal candidate will be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment. This is a hand’s on job, which includes mechanical, welding and fabrication skills, blueprint reading, basic carpentry and math skills. An ideal candidate would also be able to troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

- Must be able to install, troubleshoot and maintain all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Degree from a Technical School or University preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of industrial environment experience
