Maintenance Technician

This is a SEASONAL full‑time or part‑time position. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• General Duties
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of the Camp‑Resort’s property, facilities and equipment
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly
  • Assist in planning and executing projects from start to finish
  • Troubleshoot and perform a variety of entry‑level duties under close supervision in the following areas:
    • Basic repair/maintenance of doorknobs, locks, hinges, and gates, as required
    • Carpentry
    • Drywall and painting communal areas and exterior walls
    • Electrical (lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items)
    • Plumbing (repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains)
• Administrative Duties
  • Regularly update the Maintenance Supervisor on the status of repairs, preventative maintenance and other projects
  • Maintain the necessary service records on mechanical and structural systems
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed for park operation, employee relations, timekeeping and safety, including ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly documentation is completed
• Other Essential Duties
  • Comply with local, state and federal safety regulations and procedures
  • Participate in other projects and activities as assigned

• 1–3 years of consistent and professional work experience in a variety of trades
• Trade certifications and licenses are highly desired

• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication, customer service and problem‑solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Required to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Work with minimal supervision
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes good relations with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers and management
• Valid driver’s license

• Able to lift up to 80 lbs
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
• Regularly move throughout the park
• Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and crawl
• Able to manipulate fingers, hands and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
• Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
