The Carpenter Helper assists with constructing, erecting, stripping, and repairing structures of steel, wood, or plywood using hand and power tools in accordance with construction documents. The role includes exposure to a range of duties, though individuals may specialize in one or more areas.
Roles and Responsibilities- Helps install footing forms
- Helps build and install structural deck forms
- Helps set slab‑on‑grade forms
- Helps prep and set tilt‑up/precast forms
- Ensures a safe work environment
- Participates in training and certifications
- High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.
