Iron Department Field Installer
Position SummaryThe Iron Department Field Installer is responsible for the delivery, handling, and on-site installation of custom-fabricated iron, steel, and aluminum products for residential and commercial projects. This role involves hands‑on field work, coordination with the Iron Department Manager, and ensuring installations are completed safely, accurately, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate delivery and installation schedules with the Iron Department Manager prior to arriving on job sites
- Safely transport, handle, and position fabricated metal products at residential and commercial locations
- Assist with on-site installation of iron, steel, and aluminum products using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret basic construction drawings, measurements, and installation details
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and installation details (preferred)
- Experience using hand tools and standard power tools used in construction or fabrication work
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver at least 60 pounds safely
- Ability to work in varying outdoor and active construction environments
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- All candidates must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test, which includes Marijuana. Medical Marijuana Cards are not acceptable as a Federal Contractor.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to commute to the office daily.
Minimum Pay Rate: 21.00
Maximum Pay Rate: 23.00
Pay rate is dependent upon experience.
