Electrician

• Assemble, install, and test electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and components
• Install and route conduit, wireways, and cable trays per NEC code, blueprints, and customer specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
• Perform electrical connections, troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs to meet specifications
• Inspect work to ensure quality and readiness for testing or inspection
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
• Follow safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and support a safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute work efficiently
• Provide guidance, training, or mentorship to less experienced electricians (level dependent)

• Basic to advanced knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical measuring devices
• Understanding of NEC code and safe electrical practices (level dependent)
• Experience in electrical assembly, installation, or industrial/commercial electrical work
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and productivity
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team within established procedures
• Dependable attendance and effective communication skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license required for advanced roles

Pay Transparency: nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Compensation range: $17.20 - $31.90 per hour. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, pay will comply.
