HVAC Service Technician

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Shift: Day shift, Monday - Friday

Job Description

Under the supervision of the operations leadership, Service Technicians are held to a high standard of service. The role requires servicing all equipment including carbonated and non-carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment, ice makers, and juice dispensers. Technicians work with minimal supervision and attend weekly meetings at their Service Center. Team members are equipped with a vehicle, uniforms, tools, cell phone, tablet, and gas card.

Responsibilities

• Receive dispatched service calls and ensure a prompt response based on estimated time of arrival (ETA).
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot or diagnose service problems, and complete repairs as needed.
• Check the quality of all products, such as syrup levels and machine cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory and maintenance on equipment, including parts, tools, and the company vehicle.
• Review service orders and performed services with the respective supervisor, keeping them informed of customer concerns and up-selling opportunities.
• Document all work performed and close out activities upon completion.
• Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Perform general warehouse duties including cleaning, organizing, rotating product, and handling shipping and receiving of equipment and parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Maintenance and trade school education.
• HVAC and mechanical expertise.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience as a service technician or in service repair roles.

• Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task with minimal supervision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Self-starter capable of accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.
• Great oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable performing basic mathematical functions.

Work Environment

The position involves an initial training period of 120 days, during which the technician will be paired with an experienced service technician. The role requires both independent work and teamwork in various environments, ensuring equipment maintenance and repair. Dress code includes uniforms provided by the company.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
