Electrical Technician II with Security Clearance

job title: electrical technician ii (electii) department: aircraft integrations reports to: aircraft integration supervisor classification: non-exempt status: full-time job summary: under indirect supervision, responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations.

• provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after production.
• install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components
• assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
• modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, in accordance with electrical drawings/schematics.
• set up and operate test equipment.
• analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
• ability to understand redline processes while working closely with supervisor.
• build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, iaw the electrical drawing /schematics.
• perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.

• high school diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information.
• ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• attention to detail.
• recurring fod training and awareness, upon hire and annually
• ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.

• knowledge of ipc/whma-a 620 certification

• must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
