Blue Dot Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. In this hands-on field role, you'll perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and system start-ups while ensuring safety, code compliance, and high-quality workmanship. You'll interact directly with customers, explain findings and options, and deliver a customer-first service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on heating and cooling equipment
  • Conduct system start-ups, testing, and performance checks
  • Ensure work meets safety standards, codes, and manufacturer specifications
  • Communicate findings, repair options, and estimates to customers
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Operate service vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members and dispatch for scheduling and support
  • Recommend system improvements, replacements, or upgrades
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs
