Piping Mechanic

Cool Sys is seeking a skilled Piping Mechanic to install, repair, and maintain piping systems that support HVAC-R and mechanical equipment in commercial and industrial settings. In this hands-on field role, you'll interpret blueprints, cut and thread pipe, weld, braze, and perform pressure testing to ensure safe, efficient operation. You'll work closely with technicians and project teams in a safety-first, customer-focused culture that values integrity, teamwork, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and repair piping systems for HVAC-R and mechanical equipment in commercial and industrial facilities.
• Interpret blueprints, isometrics, and P&IDs to plan pipe routing, supports, and tie-ins.
• Cut, thread, groove, weld, and braze piping materials to industry and Cool
• Sys standards.
• Perform pressure and leak testing, inspections, and quality checks on completed piping work.
• Collaborate with HVAC-R technicians, project managers, and other trades to meet schedule and safety requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with safety and company policies.
• Document work performed and communicate project status and issues to supervisors and customers.
