HVAC Service Manager

About the Role:

Mayne Mechanical LLC is looking for an experienced and driven HVAC Service Manager to lead our service team in Sykesville, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a growing service department, mentor skilled technicians, and deliver top-tier HVAC solutions to our valued customers. Oversee daily operations of the HVAC service department, including scheduling, dispatching, and workflow management

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC service technicians to ensure high performance and quality workmanship

Manage service calls for residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, including diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance

Ensure timely and accurate completion of service orders, invoicing, and customer follow-up

Maintain inventory of parts, equipment, and service vehicles to support efficient field operations

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolving escalated service issues professionally

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry codes, and company standards

5+ years of HVAC industry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and preventative maintenance

EPA 608 Certification required; additional certifications (NATE, etc.) a plus

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of field technicians

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Proficiency with service management software and basic computer skills

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
