Underground Utility - Pipe Layer
We are seeking an experienced pipe layer who is proficient in setting up both pipe lasers and rotary lasers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing gravity sewer, storm drain, and water lines. Experience working in groundwater is preferred, and the ability to shoot grade is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Set up pipe lasers and rotary lasers for accurate installation.
- Install gravity sewer, storm drain, and water lines efficiently.
- Work with groundwater conditions as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints related to underground utility construction.
- Operate heavy equipment and excavators safely and effectively.
Essential
Skills:
- Extensive pipe laying experience, specifically 2-3 years.
- Proficiency in using blueprints for utility construction.
- Experience in wastewater management and civil excavation.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Heavy equipment operation experience is advantageous.
- Ability to shoot grade is a beneficial skill.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gambrills, MD.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
