HVAC-R Service Tech

Cool Sys seeks a Senior HVAC/R Service Technician to support our Engineering & Maintenance team in the HVAC wholesale industry. In this role, you'll lead installation, advanced troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex commercial and industrial HVACR systems, ensuring reliability and energy efficiency. You'll leverage cutting-edge diagnostic tools, collaborate closely with engineering, and mentor junior techs. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems
• Perform installation, start-up, and retrofits for HVACR equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure peak performance and efficiency
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues using advanced tools
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
• Collaborate with engineering & maintenance teams on system improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and energy-efficiency standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians
• Interface with customers to explain findings and recommend solutions
• Support on-call and emergency service as needed
