Location: Federalsburg, MD
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 2-2-3 Schedule

Job Summary

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial electrical systems and equipment to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs using basic and ladder logic.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Install wiring, conduit, power supplies, and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders using maintenance software.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Update electrical schematics and equipment documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and train junior electricians.
• Follow all safety, quality, and GMP standards.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience or equivalent trade school/apprenticeship training.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, instrumentation, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient with multimeters, hand tools, and power tools.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and work order systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Associate Degree in Electronics Technology or electrical trade training preferred.
• Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
