Automation Technologies Inc. is looking for a Somali Operation Language Analyst (OLA).
RESPONSIBILITIES- Translating and/or transcribing complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material
- Gisting complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material
- TS SCI FSP
- Equivalent of four (4) full‑time years of experience performing cryptologic language processing in the required language.
- In lieu of an Associate’s Degree, an additional two (2) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience may be substituted for a total of six (6) years of experience.
- For at least two (2) out of the four (4) years of experience, translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duties.
- For no more than one (1) year of the required four (4) years, reporting shall be the primary duty.
- Two (2) of the four (4) years of experience shall be within four (4) years of resume submission.
- One (1) year experience typing on an English keyboard.
- cryptographic experience:
- Target development, network analysis, drafting intel reports, speaker/language identification.
- Related language experience:
- Oral translations, non‑crypto audio/graphic translations, document exploitation, formal teaching.
- ILR skill level minimum 2 with at least one 3 in Listening and Reading.
- Must be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission.
- Ability to translate highly technical foreign language documents and audio files.
- Ability to translate gists that result in numerous product reports.
- Ability to provide quality control of both written and audio level 3 translations.
- Ability to perform complete translation from Russian into idiomatic English.
- Ability to extract and recover information that is deemed essential and/or critical.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive target and SIGINT development using agency‑specific tools and databases.
- Has working knowledge of target analysis development skills to facilitate and provide recommended courses of action for multiple HUMINT and SIGINT operations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and lift up to 25 pounds.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000.
