School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Denton, Maryland

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) with expertise delivering school-based and teletherapy services. Make a positive impact on PreK-5th grade students in an elementary setting, supporting their growth and communication needs throughout the academic year. This position offers a blend of on-site work near Denton, MD, with some flexibility for virtual (VOCO) services for the right candidate.

Ideal qualifications and experience:

• Active Maryland SLP License, with MD schools experience strongly preferred
• Board Certification (SLP-CCC) required
• Background in providing therapy to elementary-aged children (PreK-5th grade)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with delivering both in-person and teletherapy (VOCO) services
• Experience meeting monthly service requirements (60 service hours/month)
• Ability to adapt support for diverse learning and communication styles

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging speech and language therapy in accordance with educational plans
• Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for service delivery and progress monitoring
• Manage and prioritize caseload to meet monthly service benchmarks
• Participate in IEP development, meetings, and ongoing communication regarding student progress
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
