The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop sof tware, but to build sof tware that will support critical missions for national security? As a full-stack sof tware quality assurance ( QA ) and test automation developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We're looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to build test automation and high-quality sof tware from vision to production-ready system, and to help mature sof tware development processes and platforms to a Dev Ops posture, enabled by modern technologies.

This role is more than just coding. We need a sof tware developer who will use their passion for secure, quality sof tware and modern development practices to learn new tools and techniques, including using approved AI tools to recommend and implement Dev Ops sof tware process improvements, automate testing, configure tools to support secure sof tware QA, and mentor teammates.

Using tools like Git Lab, ReST, FastAPI and other s that you may recommend, and sof tware languages, including Python, Java, and VS Code, you'll build test frameworks, test automation sof tware, and secure sof tware solutions that provide data transport and Zero T rus t capabilities to support customer missions. You'll support modernization and redesign of legacy workflows using AI sof tware tools.

You'll leverage communications skills to coordinate with team members and customers in a fast-paced mission environment and collaborate within the Atlassian Suite of tools. You'll analyze the needs and environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience developing sof tware in Python and Linux
• 3+ years of experience with sof tware testing, including automated testing
• Experience with Java, JSON, and VS Code
• Experience with Docker or Podman
• Experience with multiple frameworks or tools such as Git, Pydantic, FastAPI, or ReST
• Experience implementing version control approaches in sof tware pipelines
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in CS or an Engineering field and 5+ years of experience with sof tware, database engineering, or sof tware testing, or 10+ years of experience with sof tware, database engineering, or software testing in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Playwright
• Experience automating sof tware processes with Salt or other automation platforms
• Experience leading small technical or sof tware development teams
• Experience working with Atlassian Suite, and in the Agile sof tware lifecycle, including Kanban approach
• Experience with front-end development
• Experience with modular design, middleware, or microservices
