CNO Software Engineer

MANTECH seeks a skilled and mission-focused CNO Software Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD
. In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced CNO capabilities that directly support national security. You’ll work in a collaborative environment focused on solving complex technical challenges in support of our customer’s most critical missions.

• Design and develop new hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities
• Assists with the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of applications software and systems
• Develop data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
• Apply knowledge of security concepts and network technologies
• Ensure software engineering standards are consistently met

• BS Degree in a technical discipline and 7+ years of experience in software development or software engineering, or High School Diploma and 11+ years experience in software development or software engineering
• Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems

• Experience with analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering
• Understanding of assembly programming concepts
• Understanding of CNO development concepts
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and practices

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph prior to start, if required

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
