Software Engineer

Description
This senior role fosters collaboration with other senior engineers for the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile development projects in support of a high-visibility mission. This position involves providing technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects, as well as collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive mission objectives.
Basic QualificationsTS/SCI w/poly
Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Desired Skills- AI/ML development or integration experience
- Terraform experience with AWS
- C++, Python and/or Golang
- Experience with writing high-performance / GPU-enabled applications
- Experience with large-scale streaming data analytic systems
TS/SCI w/Poly SP
CompensationThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $150,800 – $265,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non‑represented full‑time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full‑time employees accrue 6.67 hours of vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
PTO, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Working ConditionsOnsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule:
9x80 every other Friday off.
