Senior Software Engineer; ONSITE

About the Role

Senior Software Engineer at Solipsys, a wholly owned subsidiary of Collins Aerospace (RTX). The role is onsite in Maple Lawn, MD, and requires U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance.

• Design, architect, and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment.
• Develop innovative new features for real‑time situational awareness command and control (C2) systems.
• Collaborate with a team to design, architect, and innovate software solutions.
• Build positive relationships with customers and internal/external stakeholders.
• Travel to customer sites (up to 25%) for demos, integration, and support.

• 5+ years software development experience with Java or C++ (or 3+ with an advanced degree).
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval.
• Full lifecycle development experience (requirements, design, development, debugging, testing).
• Experience with Graph

  SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, Type Script, HTML/CSS.
• Multithreaded systems and container orchestration experience preferred.

Salary range: $95,500 - $181,700 USD.
