Position: Software Engineer [$333k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance
Location: Annapolis Junction

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary:

• Lead and manage software and Dev Ops teams in the development and maintenance of complex software systems.
• Design, develop, and integrate solutions leveraging modern technologies across the full software development lifecycle.
• Apply expertise in Linux environments, Java, Spring, NiFi, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Implement robust Continuous Integration practices, utilizing Git Lab, Elasticsearch, Amazon Open Search, and AWS cloud services.
• Drive Agile methodologies, focusing on algorithm development, rigorous software testing, detailed requirements analysis, database engineering, and comprehensive technical documentation. Qualifications & Compensation:

Job Description:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of intricate software systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development and Dev Ops teams.
• Oversee and implement robust Dev Ops practices, including Continuous Integration and Software Configuration Management using tools like Git Lab.
• Perform advanced algorithm development and complex software testing, including integration testing.
• Conduct thorough requirements analysis, translating operational needs into technical specifications.
• Engineer and manage database solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Develop and maintain software utilizing Java, Spring, and NiFi for dataflow management.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
• Utilize Linux operating environments and perform systems administration tasks.
• Implement and monitor system performance with tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Manage code repositories and version control effectively with Git.
• Employ cloud services, specifically leveraging AWS.
• Utilize and manage data indexing and search technologies like Elasticsearch and Amazon Open Search.
• Contribute to all phases of the Agile/Scrum development process.
• Produce clear and concise technical documentation and communications.
• Apply strong mathematical principles to problem-solving and system design.
