Position: Junior Java Automation Engineer [$239k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance
Location: Annapolis Junction

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.

Summary:

• Develop and maintain tools and services for Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence.
• Automate administrative tasks and workflows using Bash, Python, and PHP.
• Develop software with Java.
• Apply IaC principles with Ansible.
• Implement CI/CD using Git Lab.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Manage source code with Git.
• Create documentation for configurations and procedures. Qualifications & Compensation:

• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $239k+ yearly

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain tools and services supporting Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers to deliver seamless integrations that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
• Utilize Linux CLI and Linux Tools.
• Write Bash, Python, and PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows.
• Perform extensive software development using Java.
• Employ integrated development environments such as the Atlassian plugin software developer kit (SDK) or Visual Studio Code (VS Code).
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools such as Ansible.
• Create documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes.
• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles, methodologies, and tools such as Git Lab CI.
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Deploy containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration.
• Manage source code with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration. • (Desired)
