Position: Agile Developer 3 with Security Clearance
Location: Annapolis Junction

Position Summary Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to support the modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The role focuses on microservices development, REST services, AWS-native solutions, and CI/CD in an Agile environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS native technologies.
* Use Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3.
* Build REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects.
* Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, Git Lab, and Git Ops.
* Support Agile software development and delivery.
* Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
* Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.
* 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 7 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
* Experience with AWS tool suites such as OSS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Cloud Watch.
* Experience with at least 3 of the required skill areas below:
* Java, Spring Boot, or Python.
* Microservice architectures.
* CI/CD tools including AWS tools, Maven, Git Lab, Git Ops, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible.
* No

SQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB query and schema design.
* OAuth/OIDC implementation.
* Test frameworks and automation including Cypress and Cucumber.
