Purpose and Objective

SAP America, Inc. seeks a professional to work on UX concepts for business applications.

Expectations and Tasks

Ensure the relevance of designs and work closely with the application units within SAP CX.
Expose concepts and designs to customers and end users for feedback.
Involve in interaction design while being empathetic towards end-users.
Define and communicate new application designs and interaction concepts or build upon and extend existing concepts.
Abstract and generalize requirements to ensure relevance and scale of work.
Broaden horizon on design methodologies, technologies, and upcoming trends.

Education and Occupational Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Engineering, or a related field plus six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Engineering, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

Proposing innovative design solutions for features and functions defined by product teams.
Creating product specific UI guidelines.
Proposing UI Patterns and building blocks to solve detailed interaction problems.
Transferring use case definitions into complete UI designs for complex products.
Creating high fidelity prototypes for demos and usability testing.
Planning usability studies to test UI standard building blocks and pattern concepts and recording formative data.
Using design and usability testing tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe, and

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $117,656 - $200,200. The targeted combined range (base salary and variable incentive) is $133,700 - $227,500. Actual offers depend on education, skills, experience, and location.
