Ana Vation is seeking a Service Now Developer to join our team and support our mission critical Government customer in Hanover, MD. In this role you will design, develop, and maintain robust Service Now applications and workflows supporting enterprise operations, including workflow and workload management, reporting and analytics, and system integrations. As a key technical contributor, you will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, data engineers, and architects to translate mission requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions.

Due to the nature of the work performed, candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of security controls within a federal enterprise environment.

• Develop and configure Service Now applications, workflows, and workload management solutions using JavaScript, including reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Implement enhancements to existing Service Now functionality.
• Develop and support REST/SOAP API integrations using JSON and XML.
• Serve as Tier 3 support to troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, and integration issues.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Support data validation, transformation, and migration activities.

Education & Years of

Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of Service Now development experience

Certifications: IAT II (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)

• Experience developing applications using JavaScript.
• Experience with Service Now workflows, scripting, and platform configuration.
• Experience developing and supporting REST/SOAP APIs and working with JSON/XML data formats.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling concepts.
• Experience working in SAFe Agile software development environments.
• Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD) environments.

Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI

Education & Years of

Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Service Now development experience

Certifications: IAT II (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent), Certifications in Service Now Certified Applications Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent, AWS, Azure, and/or SAFe Agile

• Experience as a Service Now Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or Solution Architect.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale Service Now solutions, integrations, and platform architecture.
• Experience with Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Asset Management, HRSD, or Sec Ops.
