As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and test software applications that interact with systems—including antennas, transceivers, and receivers. On a daily basis, you will write code in languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB, and use tools such as Simulink or LabVIEW to simulate and analyze systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including electrical and systems engineers, to ensure software meets requirements and integrates seamlessly.

More of your responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing DSP algorithms in software
• Providing concise explanations of developed models so that other team members can understand and utilize those models or algorithms for processing signals

• Ability to obtain and be processed for a US Security Clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (four years of experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree; two years of experience may substitute for an MS)
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Knowledge of various software development languages

• Experience as a DSP algorithm developer
• Experience working with Linux systems

TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules, including a 9‑80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC is $104,900 – $184,920. For other states, the range will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

Benefits offered include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Washington state employees accrue paid time off, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours as specified by state policy.

This position is incentive‑plan eligible.
