CNO Developer Job Hanover Maryland USA,Software Development

T-Rex is looking for a talented CNO Developer to work on a program in the Hanover, Maryland area in support of the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to the development of mission‑critical offensive cyber capabilities and drive excellence in advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO). You will be part of a dynamic team working on next‑generation solutions that safeguard our national security systems.

Design and develop new hardware‑ or software‑based CNO capabilities
Assist with the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of applications software and systems
Apply knowledge of security concepts and network technologies
Ensure software engineering standards are consistently met

Minimum Qualifications

BS Degree in a technical discipline or High School Diploma and 4+ years of technical experience
Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with networking (TCP/IP) and socket‑level programming
Experience with low‑level system internals across one or more platforms
Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering
Experience with developing CNO capabilities
Understanding of unit testing frameworks and practices
Understanding of assembly programming concepts
Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible

Security Clearance Requirements

Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph prior to start, if required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (50% of the time) and operate computer equipment and office machinery.

Salary & Benefits

Annual base salary range: $120,000 – $150,000. Benefits include PTO available to use immediately upon joining (prorated based on start date), paid parental leave, individual and family health, vision, and dental benefits, annual budget for training, professional development and tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan with company match fully vested after 60 days of employment, among other benefits.
