Firmware Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Firmware Engineer to support a defense client in Aberdeen, MD. This individual will be responsible for developing, modifying, and debugging embedded firmware for mission-critical systems, working across hardware and software teams to integrate sensors, actuators, imaging systems, and other electromechanical components. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with low-level embedded development, hardware interfaces, and real-time systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex firmware and hardware interactions.

This role requires a hands-on engineer who can quickly understand existing firmware architectures, implement new functionality, and support the development of advanced embedded platforms. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

$60/hr to $80/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
