Microservices Developer

Standard job description modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will be responsible for:

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Utilizing Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implementing CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, Gitlab and Git Ops
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration:
  Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 9 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Able to support an on-call rotation
• Cucumber Testing
• Cypress and Playwright Testing
• Python
• CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, Gitlab & Git Ops;
  Kubernetes, docker
• Development in Cloud Environment
• Experience with Rules Engines

Desired skills:

• AWS Services (i.e. Lambda's, Step functions, S3, etc.)
• Document-based stored (MongoDB, Open Search, etc.)
• Relational Data Store Familiarity (RDS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)

Pay information:
Full-time salary range: $135700.00 - $251900.00. At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
