Crown Sports Center is committed to delivering professional, organized, high-energy sports experiences for youth and families on the Eastern Shore.

We are not a 'roll the ball out' facility. We build structured programs, strong coaches, and long-term community relationships.

Our Basketball Program Leader will be responsible for elevating and growing all basketball-related programming at Crown.

The Basketball Program Leader owns the development, execution, and growth of Crown's basketball programming, including youth and adult leagues, clinics, camps, tournaments, and skill development programs.

This is a leadership role - not just a coaching position.

• Building participation
• Creating structure and organization
• Developing coaches
• Delivering a high-level participant experience
• Driving program growth year over year
• Aiding in coaching of other programs, events, and tournaments

• Plan and execute youth + adult basketball leagues, clinics, and camps
• Identify new opportunities for program expansion
• Track enrollment and retention metrics
• Collaborate with marketing to increase participation
• Build relationships with schools, coaches, and community organizations

• Ensure leagues and events run on time and professionally
• Oversee scheduling, staff assignments, and equipment
• Utilize facility management software efficiently
• Track attendance and program data weekly

• Recruit and develop coaches and scorekeepers
• Provide clear expectations and performance feedback
• Maintain professionalism and consistency across all sessions

• Serve as a primary point of contact for basketball families
• Address concerns professionally and promptly Create a competitive yet positive environment

• Experience coaching or leading basketball programming
• Experience organizing leagues, camps, or tournaments preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable using scheduling and management software
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable standing and coaching for extended periods
• Indoor sports facility environment
