Local Class B Delivery Driver - Hanover, MD

Location and Compensation

Baltimore/Hanover, MD. Pay: $45,065 - $52,000 annually.

Airgas seeks a Class A or B Delivery Driver in Hanover, MD. The driver will operate a licensed commercial vehicle to deliver dry ice and cold shipping supplies to customers in the region.

• Operate a Class B commercial vehicle with lift gate to deliver and pick up dry ice and cold shipping supplies.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate piece count and match load manifest.
• Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
• Provide customer service and give feedback to the Branch Manager.
• Maintain accurate driving log information.
• Comply with all company safety policies, DOT and OSHA requirements.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A or B CDL driver’s license.
• No accidents in the last three years.
• No DUI in the last seven years.
• No more than 2 minor moving violations in the last three years.
• No serious violations in the last three years (reckless driving, speeding 15+).
• No suspensions in the last three years, except for failure to pay child support.
• One year experience driving a commercial vehicle or diploma from an accredited truck driving school within the last four years.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.
