Dump Truck Driver - Night Shift

Overview

Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious and dedicated Class B CDL driver to join our elite team of drivers. Our drivers remain local and return home safely after every shift. This position is for night shift and is non-exempt.

• Transport construction materials to customer or job site locations on a nightly schedule.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and identify any issues.
• Pickup materials (dirt, stone, or asphalt) and haul to jobsite locations, delivering materials in a safe and timely manner as directed.
• Maintain a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicate regularly with the dispatcher to ensure delivery schedules are followed and report any issues with traffic or site conditions promptly.
• Comply with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair per the Truck Driver's Handbook guidelines.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License required.
• One year of CDL driving in a vehicle with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater required.
• Previous dump truck experience preferred.

• Hourly range: $25.00 - $30.00, based on experience.
