Road Supervisor

Transdev is hiring a Road Supervisor. Road Supervisors ensure all routes are completed in compliance with safety procedures. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

CBA Position:
Starting Pay $26.08 - $31.77

Job Type: Full Time

• Vacation:
  Minimum of 5 days per year
• Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours yearly for full‑time employees

• Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers
• Day‑to‑day scheduling, counseling and submitting evaluation reports to local management
• Conduct on‑scene accident investigations; assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports and safety violation documents
• Develop and host driver training and safety courses; train new and retrain drivers involved in accidents
• Observe drivers on the road, correct safety problems on the scene while documenting violations
• Liaison between drivers and both customers and the organization for service concerns
• Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance in compliance with legal, employment and labor policy matters
• Assist Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance – drug testing and recordkeeping
• Drive routes periodically
• Other duties as required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License
• Supervisory experience with hourly employees; 2‑3 years transit supervisory experience preferred
• Computer literate – basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable; 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason

• Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, humidity; 100% of the job is performed outdoors, alone and in remote locations
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on possible sloped or uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 lbs; lift material up to 50 lbs with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel or crouch
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise
