Position Summary

U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 6:30 am until all deliveries are completed with rotating half-day Saturdays. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of our many routes while making 10–20 deliveries per day.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and logs, including driver logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records required by company policy and law.
  • Make on‑time deliveries at customer locations while operating safely and punctually in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on the vehicle driven each day.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Lift commercial tires using team lifts or mechanical equipment.
  • When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires, exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks and occasionally operate equipment such as forklift pallet jacks and order pickers.
  • Work approximately 8–12 hours per day.
  • Operate a handheld device provided by the company and ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product.
  • Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands:
The employee must be physically able to lift products weighing up to 80 pounds, with frequent lifts of about 50 pounds, and sometimes exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires (rolling, destacking, team lifting) requires team lifts or the use of mechanical equipment.

Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and a self‑retracting lifeline. All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for the toe boots.

Work environment:
The employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions. Noise levels are usually moderate, and fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants may be present.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years or older (mandatory company policy).
  • At least one year of professional driving experience with a cube van, box truck, or semi, and successful completion of the company road test.
  • Ability to be trained to safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high‑reach lifts, as required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds while working with barrels and agricultural tires.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated customer‑service skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test (no THC testing).
  • Valid DOT medical card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.
