Schedule:
Friday and Saturday night
Shift: 10pm – 6am
Job Purpose:
To provide general assistance to the person receiving services while maintaining his/her dignity and respect at all times. S/he has the primary responsibility to assure the safety of people when they are sleeping while complying with agency guidelines and practices. The Awake Overnight associate will understand the needs of people living in the home; be familiar with people's needs and schedules and carry them out accordingly.
You are a good fit if you have the following experience, education, and skills:
- 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- A valid driving license (We cannot accept driver permit or provisional license)
- Can pass a criminal background check mandated by the State of Maryland
- A good driving record with no more than 2 points on the license
- A reliable vehicle to be used in transporting individuals we serve
- Enjoy assisting people and hands on support

Demonstrated ability to read and write clearly and concisely.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Possesses a proficiency in computer-based software, e.g., excel, word. Must be dependable, responsible, consistent and punctual. Must be flexible and take direction. Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team and independently. Must pass criminal background check mandated by the State of Maryland. Valid driving license with good driving record. Ability and desire to create long-term, trusting and respectful relationships.
