Job Description

Domino’s Pizza is looking for qualified delivery drivers to staff stores in your area. The position offers a flexible schedule that can fit your school or other commitments, and opportunities for career growth within the company, from delivery driver to management or franchise ownership.

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• You must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• You must have access to an insured vehicle capable of making deliveries.
• You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
• Deliver pizza and other items to customers, ensuring timely and accurate orders.
• Assist with order entry, cash handling, and basic customer service interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery equipment and vehicle.
• Adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Ability to provide correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination and hand‑eye coordination for rapid and accurate tasks.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Basic information technology skills required for order entry and POS systems.

• Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions during deliveries.
• In‑store temperature ranges from cool to hot, with occasional temperature swings.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and the possibility of fumes from cooking processes.
• Work in cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers and hot work areas near ovens that may reach 500 °F or higher.
• Possibility of working with sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

• Required basic hearing and talking on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
• Depth perception and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

• Strong decision‑making ability and sound judgment.
• Capacity to direct activities, work repetitively, and work alone or with a team.
• Ability to handle stress, meet strict quality control standards, and interact with people.
• Data analysis and compilation skills are beneficial.

• Standing: most tasks performed standing.
• Walking: short distances and short durations, on surfaces such as ceramic tile, bricks, or linoleum. Work surfaces 36‑48 inches high.
• Sitting: paperwork typically completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: handle bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and stack items up to 72 high using hand trucks.
• Carrying: lift items such as large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), and trays of dough (≈12 lb each) for short distances.
• Pushing/Pulling: move trays on dollies, applying up to 7.5 lb of force.
• Climbing: occasional navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks.
