Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Hanover, MD offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

• Pay: $28.28 per hour, $1,131 or more weekly (based on 40+ hours)
• Paid Weekly
• Hours per week: 40 or more
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, start time 5:00 AM

• Deliver SOLO To: MD, DC, VA
• Route:
  Local Home Daily
• Tractor Type: 26' Straight Truck
• Equipment:
  Lift gate, pallet jack, heat‑controlled freight unloading (HVAC equipment)
• Endorsements:
  Hazmat within 60 days of hire
• Ryder will train on all equipment needed

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A or Class B verifiable experience: 9 months within 3 years, 2 years within 5 years, or 5 years within 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
