Under general supervision, this role oversees one or more sites/fleets within a single cost center. The incumbent applies strategic management and leadership to drive operational performance, ensure safety and DOT compliance, and manage financial results. Flexibility in shift work is required, including day, night, and weekend shifts.

• Promote, manage, and maintain a positive work environment to improve operational efficiency, employee engagement, and driver retention.
• Create and direct managers in executing forecasts for freight volumes and power/equipment needs, adjusting capacity to ensure seamless fleet/carrier coverage.
• Train, audit, and continually improve processes and procedures for day‑to‑day operations.
• Communicate with customers, internal departments, and team members to identify and resolve ramp, driver, customer, and account issues.
• Oversee fleet operations, including driver board coverage, customer service, safety, compliance, driver retention, and employee scorecard management.
• Manage financial performance through cost control, expense management, and profitability analysis; deliver design vs. actual data reviews and report findings.
• Compile and monitor operational, financial, and service metrics; address deviations from key performance indicators.
• Maintain safety and DOT training compliance; collaborate with internal personnel to address specific safety needs.
• Facilitate employee training and development, monitoring performance and promoting growth through evaluations, development plans, and recognition programs.
• Serve as an escalation point of contact for assigned customers/ramps to ensure exceptional service, safety, and profitability.
• Assist in creating an annual budget, audit current year performance against budget, and provide feedback for adjustments.

• Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED with 4‑5 years of supervisory experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field with 2‑3 years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to work multiple shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Willingness to travel to account, customer, and company event locations when applicable.

Starting salary range: $80,600 – $100,800. Compensation may include annual bonuses and incentives based on profitability or volume metrics.
