Ruan is looking for Class A CDL drivers to be based in Landover, MD, to haul grocery store products in reefer trailers for our dedicated customer, Whole Foods.
PayThis position has a collective bargaining agreement with pay increases built in continuously over four years. Driver will earn an average of $82,000 for the first year and are paid based on route. Starting hourly pay is $27.28 per hour with routes over 400 miles being paid at $0.70 per mile and $30.45 per stop. Get paid weekly averaging about $1,400 to $1,500 per week.
ScheduleEnjoy being home daily with five-day workweeks with two consecutive days off. Weekends are required. Drivers will average 40 hours per week with p.m. start times. This is a union operation so shifts are subject to change based on seniority.
EquipmentDrive an automatic late-model Day Cab or Sleeper with refrigerated trailers.
This is driver assist grocery delivery via electric pallet jack.

Minimum Requirements- Must be at least 22 years or older
- No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
- No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
- With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile .gov before being hired
- 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
- Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
