Overview

Warehouse Co-worker | Wednesday-Saturday 4:00pm - 2:30am

Thank you for your interest in joining IKEA. This is a permanent, full-time role with a focus on warehouse operations within our Customer Fulfillment Center.

Responsibilities
  • Support the replenishment and order fulfillment process within the Customer Fulfillment Center.
  • Assume major responsibility for shipping, receiving, and block/storage of unit loads.
  • Handle goods (unload, transport, replenish, pick, load) while safely using material handling equipment and tools.
  • Secure goods properly to allow for safe movement and storage, following safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by verifying goods received, storing unit loads in assigned locations, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Perform system processes within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Yard Management System (YMS).
  • Detect, correct, and report any damage to inbound/outbound goods.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is strong and embraces diversity of co-workers and customers.
Qualifications
  • Material handling equipment experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for the length of shift; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform duties safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day (summary)
  • As a Warehouse Associate, support replenishment and order fulfillment at our Customer Fulfillment Center.
  • Verify goods received, store in assigned locations, and identify discrepancies.
  • Utilize WMS/YMS and report any damage found on inbound/outbound goods.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and support IKEA culture and diversity.
