Warehouse Cycle Counter

Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring Warehouse Inventory Clerks/Cycle Counters in Port Deposit, Maryland.

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working third shift
• Schedule:
  
  Third Shift Sunday‑Tuesday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am, Wednesday 6:00 pm – 12:00 am
• Willingness to operate PIT equipment; high‑reach order picker up to 30 ft

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 1+ year warehouse experience (preferred)
• 1+ year forklift operation preferred
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) preferred
• May need equipment certification
• Ability to read location, date, product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional relationship building

• Detail oriented, follow‑up practices

Some positions require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or customer background and badging requirements.

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
