Position Overview

Longeviti is searching for multiple candidates with active Top Secret clearances and at least three (3) years of experience to provide Warehouse Staff Support to the DIA Logistics Operations Center (DLOC) in Landover, MD.

Description

The Warehouse Staff Support position provides hands‑on assistance in daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put‑away, picking, staging, packing, and loading/unloading activities. This role requires certification to operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment and supports basic inventory management tasks such as item counts, labeling, and location tracking. The position involves handling office furniture and property using proper techniques, including the use of padding, shrink wrap, dollies, straps, and pallet jacks to ensure safe movement and damage prevention.

Responsibilities also include completing and routing required documentation such as pick tickets, delivery receipts, and transfer or turn‑in forms in accordance with agency and contract procedures.

The Warehouse Staff Support personnel must maintain a high level of attention to detail to identify and report damages, missing items, or discrepancies. The role operates in warehouse and loading dock environments, requiring adherence to OSHA‑aligned safety practices, including proper use of PPE, safe lifting techniques, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and safely operate material‑handling equipment.

And Responsibilities
  • Must possess forklift and other material‑handling equipment certifications.
  • Ability to support receiving, put‑away, picking, staging, packing, loading/unloading, and basic inventory tasks.
  • Familiarity with safe handling of office furniture and property (use of blankets/padding, shrink wrap, dollies, straps, pallet jacks as applicable).
  • Ability to follow basic inventory control procedures (item counts, labeling, location tracking) and complete/route required paperwork (pick tickets, delivery receipts, turn‑in/transfer documents) per agency/contract procedures.
  • Attention to detail in identifying damage, missing items, or discrepancies and reporting them promptly.
  • Work in warehouse/loading dock environments and follow OSHA‑aligned safety practices, including PPE, safe lifting, and housekeeping.
  • Ability to lift/carry/move items required by the position (e.g., up to 50 lbs, with team‑lift as needed), stand/walk for extended periods, and operate basic material‑handling equipment safely.
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in material, logistical or warehouse operations.
Security Clearance

Active Top Secret

Education

Minimum High School Diploma or GED
