Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Material Handlers in Port Deposit, Maryland.
Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour.

- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
- Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
- Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours of production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Valid forklift operator's license certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Team player able to work in a diverse environment.
- Can maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Highly thorough and dependable.
- Punctual with good attendance record.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- High degree of initiative.
- Accurate, even under pressure.
- Can lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
- Can stand for long periods.
- Uses health and safety methods.
- Available for flexible shift schedule.
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
