Warehouse Associate – Equipment Operator

Shift: 2nd Shift 1:30 PM–10:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $19.50

Responsibilities
  • Use power industrial equipment to load, unload, move or stack materials or products.
  • Operate manual or electric carts to fill orders.
  • Scan and count items from the receiving area, then load them onto carts.
  • Stock items appropriately by location and quantity.
  • Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves.
  • Check off merchandise as received.
  • Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
  • Assist in pulling parts during busy times.
  • Work with the stock manager to address any order problems.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience operating power industrial equipment.
  • Accurate following of written and verbal directions.
  • Understanding of map locations and sorting by alphanumeric codes.
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards per department requirements.
  • Ability to focus and remain on task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull, or move objects 10–50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb ladders or stairs, or balance.
  • May be subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather but not always from temperature changes.
  • May be required to work in narrow aisles or passageways.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with other staff members and supervisors.
  • Open, flexible availability and willingness to work various shifts and overtime.
  • 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with and promotion of safety measures in a warehouse.
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety.
