Warehouse Associate Material Handler

Position

Material Handler – Port Deposit, Maryland

Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse work environment
• High degree of initiative and thoroughness
• Good attendance record; punctual
• Accurate work even under pressure
• Lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods
• Work using health and safety methods
• Available for a flexible schedule and various work shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, and staging of products
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Perform other duties as assigned
