2nd shift - Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, Fill, Health and Wellness Cen

Position Summary

Full‑time 2nd shift – Shipping and Receiving Coordinator at Central Fill, Health and Wellness Central Operations. The position requires on‑site presence in Frederick, MD.

Full‑time 2nd shift – 4 pm to 4 am, 10‑hour shift, 4 days per week, rotating schedule.

Base pay $18.00 /hr with an additional $2.00 /hr for 2nd shift. Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and regional pay zone adjustments.

• Maintain sorter operation by removing full totes, replenishing empty totes, scanning tote and location with a handheld scanner, and rearranging individual units to ensure proper fill rates.
• Manage product deliveries: prepare, review, and verify receiving documentation; process, count, separate, and scan product; use computer software to track inventory; unload product from trailers manually or with powered equipment; organize inventory and transfer to production stations; maintain records, logs, and forms such as shipping manifests.
• Stock drugs by opening boxes, monitoring product size, labeling, scanning, and sorting drug types; transport drugs to designated locations; store excess drugs on overstock shelves; operate a forklift to move skid items in the pharmacy.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and integrity of inventory: remove damaged or expired product; identify and resolve discrepancies; inform management of incorrect processes; perform basic equipment maintenance such as cleaning and changing labels.
• Prioritize and complete work assignments using company policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to change and learn from feedback.
• Ensure accurate packing and shipping of pharmacy products: pack prescriptions, scan medication, place package on conveyor; pack temperature‑sensitive medicine per specifications; include necessary supplies; stock workstations; label and process shipments using approved carrier software; complete and verify paperwork for pickup and delivery.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply the Open Door Policy and related action plans.
